This Saskatchewan based organization is undertaking several capital projects which will further increase their electrical load requirements and distribution capacity as well as address future load requirements.  As a result, an opportunity exists for an Electrical Engineer with a solid background in the heavy electrical and electrical distribution area. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the design and implementation of these Electrical distribution projects.  This is a career oriented position ideally suited to an individual seeking technical challenge and secure long term career growth.  The position is located in Saskatchewan, near Regina and is a highly family oriented area. 

The work will involve the electrical engineering evaluation and analysis of construction, maintenance and electrical distribution projects as well as the design, budgeting and scheduling of projects in cooperation with the operating divisions.  This critical position calls for an individual who is well versed in the heavy electrical distribution area (typically 13.8 kv, 4160 kv,).   Working with internal operations, suppliers and outside consultants, you will be responsible for advising the operating and maintenance departments of technical changes that will have an impact on operating and maintenance costs and reliability improvements.

This position will be attractive to an Electrical Engineer (P.Eng) with five to ten years experience in electrical distribution and high voltage power systems.   It requires an innovative individual who is a clear communicator with solid planning and decision making abilities.  Mining experience will also be a strong asset.

This opportunity is immediate.  Compensation is attractive in the $80,000 + base salary range to start and will include additional income in the form of performance based bonuses.  Full relocation costs will be covered.
